Delete your Oomi Diet account and data

You have the right to delete your Oomi Diet account and the personal and health data associated with it at any time. This page explains step by step how to do that, which data is deleted, which data we may retain for legal reasons, and how long the process takes.
1. Introduction
Oomi Diet (Google Play & App Store; package com.oomi.diet, version 0.1.0) is a mobile nutrition and health coaching app offered by Oomi Clinic. The data controller is Oomi Clinic; contact: hello@oomiclinic.com · oomiclinic.com. [Full legal entity name and address — to be added before launch] · [VERBİS registration no — if applicable].
There are two ways to delete your account and associated data: directly inside the app, or by sending us an email request. Both methods are described below. Deletion covers all your personal data, including health data.
2. Deleting from inside the app
The fastest way to delete your account is to use the in-app account deletion flow. Account deletion is available in the app, and you can follow these steps:
- Open the Oomi Diet app and sign in to your account.
- Go to the Settings section.
- Select the Privacy / Account heading.
- Tap the Delete account option.
- Complete the confirmation step; your identity is verified in-app to start the process.
- Once confirmed, your deletion request is processed and you are notified.
3. Requesting by email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to start deletion by email, you can send a deletion request to hello@oomiclinic.com from the email address linked to your account.
Sending your request only from your account email address lets us verify your identity. For your security we may request additional verification; we may confirm your identity to protect your request against unauthorized access. You do not need to share extra direct identifiers in the email.

- Once your identity is verified, the deletion process is started.
4. Data that is deleted
When your deletion request is completed, your account and the personal and special-category health data associated with it are removed from our systems. This includes the following data:
- Account and identity information (email and authentication tokens).
- Profile and onboarding clinical questionnaire responses.
- Nutrition, meal and water logs.
- Weight and weight-tracking records, height and goals.
- GLP-1 medication/dose information and laboratory results.
- Mood logs.
- Images you uploaded to the app (meal, barcode and document scan photos).
5. Data we may retain and why
We may need to retain some data for a limited period after your account is deleted, and only for specific legal or technical reasons. These exceptions do not mean we keep your health data indefinitely; they exist only to meet our obligations.
- Invoice and payment records subject to a legal retention obligation (for the period required by applicable law).
- Anonymized or aggregated statistics; this data no longer identifies you personally.
- Limited audit/transaction records needed for service security and to handle legal claims.
6. How long deletion takes
After we receive your request and verify your identity, deletion is completed within a reasonable period — at the latest within approximately 30 days. Removal from backups may take a short additional period for technical reasons; during that time the data is kept inaccessible.
7. Consequences of deletion
Account deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your past nutrition, health and progress records cannot be recovered; if you want to use the same data again, you will need to create a new account.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Oomi does not store card details; purchases and auto-renewal are managed through the App Store or Google Play. To stop billing, you must separately cancel your subscription in the relevant store.
- The action is irreversible; data is permanently deleted.
- Cancel your subscription separately in your App Store or Google Play account.
- Refund and renewal rules are subject to the relevant store policies.
